Lyrics

[Intro]
Breath knots white in the black of dawn,
Helm frost, knuckles stone, eyes drawn.
Iron on my tongue tastes like the night,
Low drums counting down what I was to die.
I lay my name face-down in the snow,
No gods left to pray to—only the blow.
Cold in the chest where a prayer would live,
I sharpen my quiet. I empty. I give.

[Build]
Leather screams tight on the shield-arm seam,
Hunger drums slow like a buried machine.
My pulse is a tether I bite till it snaps,
Foot-stomp, spine-lock, fear falls through the cracks.
There’s a beast behind my eyes, turning keys,
Claw-scratch on the skull, warming to the freeze.
I feel my human breath walk out the gate,
I let it go gentle. I let the fangs wait.
(Choir low: Hey… hey… hey…)
Bloodrun waking in a wintered vein,
The wind tastes copper; I swallow the rain.

[Chant Break]
(Choir, stomped): Blood—run. Blood—run.
Skull drum. Shield drum. One by one.
No gods. No mercy. Only the drum.
(A lone violin holds—a ghosted thread…)
ALL: BER-SERK-ER! (female scream on “ER!”)
—dead silence—

[Drop]
I bite the iron rim—iron teeth, iron teeth,
Snow turns red where my boots find beat.
Ho! Ho! I am the noise my fathers kept sheathed,
Ho! Ho! I am the storm in a throat without sleep.
My shield is a thunder, my blade is a bell,
Every hit a vow I hammer in hell.
Bloodrun, bloodrun—eyes like a furnace door,
Ho! Ho! I burn the world till it makes me more.
No gods left, just the choir of bone,
Ho! Ho! I carry the war like it’s carved in my stone.

[Breakdown]
Between two strikes, the wind finds me thin,
The man I was knocks soft from within.
He asks for a dawn that doesn’t arrive,
I taste snow-ash and answer, “Survive.”
I see my own hands like tools I once owned,
They’re not hands now—just hunger, just tone.
The last soft thread snaps quiet, clean—
I vanish inward. The beast takes the scene.

[Violin Solo]
[Instrumental Break] Raw Nordic fiddle, grit-in-the-bow, singing over a growling C-minor earth.

[Build 2]
Heavy air, black steam from the breath I break,
Ribcage drumline, taiko in the quake.
I stow away mercy like a dull-blade lie,
Strap-bite deeper; I forget how to cry.
The world narrows down to edge and aim,
Footprints bloom red—snow learning my name.
(Choir low, rising): Hey… hey… hey…
A single string shines like a wolf-lit star…
ALL: BER-SERK-ER! (female scream on “ER!”)
—one held heartbeat—drop—

[Drop 2]
Shatter-step, shield-bite, night in my mouth,
I drink the roar, spit north and south.
Ho! Ho! Bones ring, iron sings,
Ho! Ho! I cut through the weight of things.
Bloodrun—pulse like a war-drum prayer,
Ho! Ho! My breath writes fire on the air.
No altar left but the ground I tread,
Ho! Ho! Snow keeps learning how to go red.
I don’t fall back; I don’t fall through,
I become the blow that un-names you.

[Bridge]
Strip me to footsteps, frost and knell,
To the hush between hammers, a private hell.
No gods left to pray to—hear that truth?
Only the drum that lives in the roof
Of my chest, only the beast that speaks
With my mouth when the daylight leaks.
I am not saved. I am not done.
I am the famine that outlived the sun.

[Chant Break]
(Choir, stomps and breaths): Blood—run. Blood—run.
Iron—teeth. Iron—teeth.
No gods. No mercy. Only the drum.
(A violin holds, thin as a wire over ice…)
ALL: BER-SERK-ER! (female scream on “ER!”)
—dead silence—

[Final Drop]
I am the throat where thunder nests,
Ho! Ho! I am the hunger that never rests.
Teeth on the rim, oath in the swing,
Ho! Ho! I wear the night like a living skin.
Bloodrun floods through the lattice of bone,
Ho! Ho! I call the storm and take it home.
No gods left; I baptize the snow,
Ho! Ho! In the red of the road I go.
I do not close. I do not yield.
Ho! Ho! The beast behind the eyes is the field.
My heart is a drum with an iron spur—
Ho! Ho! Strike after strike, I become the blur.

[Outro]
The wind returns, quiet over steel,
A single string fades, the breath turns real.
Snow cools slow around the prints I bled,
No gods. No peace. Only what’s fed.
I walk on, unfed enough to burn—
The man is gone. The hunger will return.
